Ask five Dubai agencies what digital marketing costs and you will get five non-answers and a request for a discovery call. That is not useful when you are trying to build a budget. So here are the actual 2026 ranges for the Dubai market, service by service, along with the factors that move a quote up or down.
These figures reflect what established agencies in the UAE charge. They are starting points, not fixed prices — but they are real, and they will tell you within two minutes whether a conversation is worth having.

Ranges reflect agencies with a real team and reporting. Prices well below these usually mean a freelancer, an offshore team, or automated output.
Social media management: AED 1,500 – 5,000 per month
The most common entry point for Dubai businesses, and the one with the widest quality gap.
Around AED 1,500/month you get one platform handled properly: a content strategy, a monthly calendar, roughly 12 feed posts, a couple of reels, stories, community management and a monthly report. Content is built from material you supply.
Around AED 3,000/month covers two platforms with real video output — roughly 20 posts, 6 reels, daily community management and a quarterly content shoot. This is the level where a feed stops looking like stock photography.
Around AED 5,000/month means three platforms, 30 posts, 12 reels, daily stories, a monthly on-site shoot and bilingual English and Arabic content. Appropriate when social is your main acquisition channel rather than a support channel.
The single biggest cost driver is content production. Reposting supplied images is cheap. Shooting, editing and producing original video is where the money goes — and it is also what separates accounts that grow from accounts that do not.
Paid advertising: AED 2,000 – 6,000 per month, plus your ad budget
This is where most confusion happens, so be clear on it: the management fee and the ad budget are two different things. The fee pays the agency. The budget goes directly to Meta, Google or TikTok. Any agency that blurs the two is one to avoid.
AED 2,000/month typically covers one platform, up to three campaigns, conversion tracking setup, around four creatives a month and bi-weekly optimisation.
AED 3,500/month covers two platforms, retargeting funnels, eight creatives, and proper A/B testing on audiences and creative.
AED 5,500/month and above is full-funnel: three or more platforms, dedicated landing pages, CRM integration and weekly optimisation calls.
On the budget side, plan a minimum of AED 3,000/month for a single channel. Below that the platform does not gather enough conversion data to optimise, and you end up paying for learning that never completes. Two channels with retargeting realistically needs AED 6,000+.
SEO: AED 2,500 – 15,000 per month
SEO is the channel with the widest price spread in Dubai, and the one where cheap is most dangerous. Low-cost SEO usually means automated directory submissions and spun content, which can actively damage a site.
AED 2,500/month buys local SEO: Google Business Profile optimisation, roughly ten target keywords, a technical audit with fixes, on-page work and local citations. For a single-location business in Dubai this is often enough.
AED 4,500/month adds the content engine — around 30 keywords, four articles a month, internal linking strategy, competitor analysis and quality link building.
AED 7,500/month and above is for competitive categories. Real estate, clinics and law firms in Dubai are contested by agencies with large budgets, and matching them costs accordingly.
Be realistic on timing. Local results move first, typically in month three or four. Long-tail keywords follow around month five or six. Competitive head terms take nine to twelve months. Any agency promising faster is either misinformed or misleading you.
Website design and development: AED 3,500 – 25,000
Usually a one-time cost, occasionally with a small maintenance retainer.
From AED 3,500 gets a five-page, mobile-first website with lead capture, WhatsApp integration and basic on-page SEO. Built on a premium template customised to your brand. Fine for most service businesses.
From AED 7,500 means a custom design of up to twelve pages with copywriting included, full SEO and schema markup, a blog and conversion tracking. The copywriting matters more than people expect — most cheap website projects stall because the client never supplies the text.
From AED 12,000 covers e-commerce: product catalogue, payment gateway, shipping and VAT configuration, customer accounts and abandoned cart recovery.
The question to ask is not "what does a website cost" but "what does this website need to do, and is that in the quote". A AED 3,500 site that captures leads outperforms a AED 25,000 site that does not.
Branding: AED 2,500 – 15,000
From AED 2,500 covers a logo system, colour palette, typography and a basic usage guide. From AED 5,000 adds a brand strategy workshop, a full guidelines document, social templates, stationery and messaging. Above AED 10,000 is generally reserved for multi-brand groups or businesses with substantial existing equity to protect.
Amazon and Noon: AED 3,000 – 8,000 per month
Often overlooked in UAE marketing budgets. Account setup on Amazon.ae and Amazon.com — including Brand Registry, storefront and initial listings — is typically a one-time AED 4,500. Ongoing management covering PPC, listing optimisation and account health starts around AED 3,000/month plus your advertising budget.
Budget a minimum of AED 3,000/month in PPC for the first ninety days. Amazon ranks products on sales velocity, which means you have to buy the first sales before organic ones arrive. Sellers who skip advertising in month one usually conclude the channel does not work by month three.
What actually changes the price
Two businesses asking for the same service can receive quotes that differ by 400%. These are the variables that explain it:
- Number of platforms or pages. One Instagram account is a different job from four channels run properly.
- Who produces the content. The single biggest driver. Supplied photos are cheap; on-site shoots, video editing and original creative are not.
- Competition in your category. SEO for a Dubai real estate agency is a fundamentally harder job than for a specialist B2B supplier.
- Languages. Bilingual English and Arabic roughly doubles content workload.
- Reporting depth. A monthly dashboard costs less than weekly analysis calls with your team.
- Number of locations. Multi-branch businesses need separate local SEO and often separate content.
Agency, freelancer, or in-house?
| Option | Monthly cost | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Freelancer | AED 1,000 – 3,000 | You need one specific skill and can manage the work yourself |
| Agency | AED 1,500 – 10,000 | You want strategy, design, ads and SEO without hiring a team |
| In-house marketer | AED 8,000 – 15,000 + visa & benefits | Enough volume to keep someone busy full-time, and someone to direct them |
If your total marketing budget is below AED 1,500 per month, a freelancer will serve you better than an agency. That is worth saying plainly — an agency retainer at that level cannot fund work that moves anything.
What to budget by business type
| Business | Suggested starting mix | Monthly total |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant or café | Social media + local SEO | AED 3,000 – 4,500 |
| Clinic or salon | Local SEO + Google Ads + reviews | AED 5,000 – 8,000 |
| Real estate agency | Meta ads + landing pages + SEO | AED 8,000 – 15,000 |
| E-commerce brand | Meta ads + SEO + Amazon | AED 7,000 – 12,000 |
| B2B or professional services | LinkedIn + Google Ads + SEO | AED 5,000 – 9,000 |
| New business testing the water | One channel, done properly | AED 1,500 – 3,000 |
The most expensive mistake
Spreading a small budget across every channel because it feels safer. It is not safer. Four channels at a quarter of the effort each produces nothing on any of them, and you end up concluding that marketing does not work.
One channel done properly beats four done badly — every time. Pick the two or three places your buyers actually are and commit to them for at least three months before judging.
What you should get for your money
Regardless of what you pay, these should be non-negotiable:
- You own everything. Ad accounts, website, analytics and Amazon account registered in your name. If you part ways, you keep the data and the history.
- Reporting tied to leads and revenue, not impressions and follower counts.
- A named point of contact who knows your account.
- Clear separation of agency fees from ad spend on every invoice.
- No lock-in beyond a reasonable minimum term.

What is the cheapest way to start marketing in Dubai?
The most cost-effective start is social media management on one platform plus local SEO on your Google Business Profile. Together that runs from about AED 1,500-2,500 per month and builds visibility without a large ad budget. Google Business Profile optimisation in particular costs almost nothing and is the fastest route to local enquiries.
Is my advertising budget included in the management fee?
No. The management fee pays the agency to build, run and optimise campaigns. Your ad budget goes directly to Meta, Google or TikTok. Expect to spend a minimum of AED 3,000 per month on ads for a single channel, and AED 6,000+ if you are running two channels with retargeting.
How much does SEO cost in Dubai?
Credible SEO retainers in Dubai run from AED 2,500 to AED 15,000 per month. Around AED 2,500 covers local SEO and Google Maps. AED 4,500 adds content and link building. Above AED 7,000 is for competitive categories like real estate and clinics. Anyone quoting under AED 1,000 per month is not doing meaningful work.
How much does a website cost in Dubai?
A professional business website in Dubai ranges from AED 3,500 to AED 25,000. A 5-page mobile-first site starts around AED 3,500. A 12-page custom build with copywriting is around AED 7,500. Full e-commerce with payments and shipping starts near AED 12,000.
Is it cheaper to hire an agency or build an in-house team?
For most SMEs an agency is cheaper. A single senior marketer in Dubai costs AED 8,000-15,000 per month plus visa and benefits, and you still need a designer and a media buyer. An agency gives you the whole team for less than one salary. In-house makes sense once you have enough volume to keep a full-time person busy and someone able to direct them.
Do Dubai agencies charge setup fees?
Many do, particularly for advertising where pixel and conversion tracking must be configured, and for website projects. Ask for the setup cost in writing before you sign. A reputable agency will break out one-time costs from recurring fees without being asked.
How long before marketing produces results in Dubai?
Paid advertising can produce enquiries within days once tracking is set up. Social media typically takes 2-3 months to build momentum. SEO takes 4-6 months before meaningful movement and 9-12 months for competitive head terms. Any agency promising SEO results in weeks is misrepresenting how it works.
What is a realistic monthly marketing budget for a small business in Dubai?
Most Dubai SMEs spend between AED 3,000 and AED 8,000 per month across agency fees and ad spend. Below AED 1,500 per month you will get better value from a freelancer than an agency. Above AED 10,000 you should expect a dedicated account manager and weekly reporting.
Do you have to sign a long contract?
Three months is a reasonable minimum for SEO, social media and paid advertising, because none of them produce reliable results faster than that. Twelve-month contracts with no exit clause are a red flag. One-time projects such as websites, branding and Amazon setup should carry no ongoing commitment.
