Search for the best social media agency in Dubai and most of what comes back is either a directory, where position tends to reflect review volume on that platform or paid placement, or an agency ranking itself first. Neither tells you whether an agency suits a restaurant in Jumeirah, a clinic in Al Barsha or a trading company in Deira.
We are a social media agency, so read this with that in mind. Everything below is something you can check yourself, and it applies to us as much as to anyone else.
What should a social media agency in Dubai actually do?
Five things: set a strategy tied to what the business sells, produce the content (which in 2026 mostly means reels), post and manage the community, run paid social, and report on results in terms the business cares about. An agency that only posts is a scheduling service. That is fine if it is priced like one.
The part most businesses underestimate is production. Reels need someone to plan, film and edit them, and the agency's answer to who does that tells you more than any case study. Our own content production page explains how batch shoot days work, if you want a reference point.
Six things you can check before you book a call
1. Live client accounts you can open
Ask for three accounts they currently run. Open them and scroll back three months. Look at how often they post, whether the reels look like they were shot for that brand, and whether anyone replies to comments. A portfolio page of logos proves nothing; a live account proves almost everything.
2. Who shoots and edits the content
Some agencies film in-house. Others pass it to freelancers or rely on stock footage and templates. Any of these can work, but you should know which you are paying for, and whether the person who filmed last month will film next month.
3. Arabic written by an Arabic speaker
If part of your audience reads Arabic, the captions should be written in Arabic rather than translated from English. Ask who writes them. Machine-translated Arabic is the fastest way to look like you are not from here.
4. Published pricing
Social media management in Dubai typically runs AED 2,000–12,000 a month. An agency that will not give you even a range before a call is usually pricing against what it thinks you can pay. Our figures are on the packages page.
5. How they report
Reach, impressions and follower counts are inputs. Enquiries, bookings, messages and sales are results. Ask to see a real monthly report from a current client, with the name removed if necessary.
6. Ad spend kept separate from their fee
Your ad budget should be paid from your own Meta or TikTok account and quoted separately from the management fee. If an agency blends the two into one number, you cannot see how much of your money is reaching the platform.
What does social media management cost in Dubai?
Across the market, AED 2,000–12,000 a month for management, with ad spend on top. The spread comes down to three things: the number of platforms, how many reels are produced each month, and whether shoot days are included.
For reference, our packages start at AED 1,500 a month for one platform with 12 posts and 4 reels, rising to AED 5,000 for three platforms with 12 reels and two shoot days. Paid social management starts at AED 2,000 a month, and AED 2,000–3,000 a month in ad spend is a realistic testing budget for a small business. The full breakdown is in our guide to social media management costs in Dubai.
Seven questions to ask on the first call
- Which of your current client accounts can I look at right now?
- Who will film and edit our content, and are they employed by you?
- How many reels a month, and how many shoot days does that take?
- Who writes the Arabic captions?
- What will you report on each month, and what should we expect to see by month three?
- Is ad spend included in your fee, or paid to Meta from our own account?
- What is the notice period if it is not working?
Red flags worth walking away from
- A promised follower count, or talk of going viral as a plan.
- Follower growth packages, which usually means bought or low-quality accounts.
- A single blended price covering both the fee and the ad budget.
- A twelve-month lock-in before you have seen a single month of work.
- A portfolio of logos and screenshots but no live accounts you can open.
- Nobody on the team who reads Arabic, when your customers do.
Agency, freelancer or in-house hire?
A freelancer is often the right answer for one platform and a tight budget. An in-house social media manager in Dubai costs roughly AED 5,000–12,000 a month in salary before visa, equipment and editing software, and is still one person. An agency makes sense when you need strategy, filming, editing, Arabic and paid ads from one team. We compare all three in detail in freelancer vs agency in Dubai.
Is a social media company different from a social media agency?
No. People search for social media marketing companies in Dubai about as often as they search for agencies, and the terms describe the same kind of business. What matters is the six checks above, not the label on the door.
The shortest version
Open three accounts the agency runs today. Ask who films, who writes the Arabic, and what the report measures. Get the fee and the ad budget as two separate numbers.
If an agency passes those tests and its accounts look like what you want yours to look like, you have probably found the best social media agency in Dubai for your business. Our approach, scope and pricing are on the social media marketing page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best social media agency in Dubai?
The one whose live client accounts look like what you want yours to become, that shoots content with its own team, writes Arabic in Arabic, publishes its pricing and reports on enquiries rather than reach. Directory rankings mostly reflect review volume or paid placement.
How much does a social media agency cost in Dubai?
Management typically runs AED 2,000–12,000 a month across the Dubai market, with ad spend paid separately to the platform. Our packages start at AED 1,500 a month for one platform.
How many posts should a social media agency deliver each month?
Reels matter more than total post count. A realistic starting point is around 12 posts and 4 reels a month on one platform, which is what our entry package includes.
Should my social media agency also run my ads?
Usually, yes. The reels that perform organically are often the best ad creative, so one team handling both tends to work better. Keep the ad budget in your own account and quoted separately from the fee.
How long does social media marketing take to show results?
Paid social can produce enquiries within weeks of launch. Organic growth is slower, and around three months is a fairer point to judge it.
Is it better to hire an agency or a freelancer for social media in Dubai?
A freelancer suits one platform and a tight budget. An agency suits businesses that need strategy, filming, editing, Arabic and paid ads from one team.
